A Hills show with 140 years of history
The Uraidla & Summertown Country Show is one of the Adelaide Hills' most loved annual events, held on the first Sunday in November at the Uraidla Showgrounds, 86 Swamp Road. The first show was held in a marquee behind the hotel in 1884, and it is still run entirely by local volunteers.
What's on
Expect a full day of animals, show rides, market stalls, competitions, food and drinks, with entertainment and live music running into the evening. New for 2026 is the arborist tree climb, with competitors racing 15 metres up a pole.
Plan your visit
The 2026 show is on Sunday 1 November. Gates open at 9am, with the official welcome at 2pm. Adults $15; children under 12 free. Street parking is very limited, so use the free shuttle buses from car parks around Uraidla and Summertown - the last shuttle leaves at 9:30pm. Check uraidlashow.com for the program.
